your hormones love a blood sugar balancing breakfast
the science + some inspiration for your mornings
Hi sweet friend,
It’s been nearly 2 weeks of being back home since spending two and a half months in Europe and rather than jumping straight back into my old routines and habits, I purposely gave myself time off to rest and all what I have learned and enjoyed from my time to integrate here at home. A large aspect of my reasoning for going to Europe was to give myself the time and space to step away from my everyday routines, release the pressure to have everything “figured out,” and allow creativity and clarity to find me. Luckily, I left feeling a lot clearer and excited for my path ahead and was so inspired by the people, the places, and the food that I encountered and connected with along the way. My path up until this point has been the furthest from conventional and truth be told, the conventional ways of going about things just doesn’t connect with me, so it’s pretty on brand that I feel clear on wanting to do things a little differently. But, sometimes, this little thing called guilt creeps up and tells me I need to do what I think people would be most proud of. Silly, I know, but also so common amongst many of us and I know that for certain. But, when those thoughts come up I remind myself that we are not meant to live for the approval of others. We all go through different paths for different reasons and that’s the beauty of this life. How boring would it be if we all did the same thing? If our careers and journeys were so predictable? With that being said, where I was going with this is that I gained clarity on the fact that I need to give light to my multiple areas of interest rather than always putting myself in a box and thinking I need to just choose one — 1:1 client work, workshops/webinars, writing, cooking, etc. I have decided to take these creative ideas and bring them to life in the next coming weeks/months and you guys will be the first to know. That’s all for today’s update, so without further ado, lets get into today’s topic…
